Renesas Electronics Corporation seeks a Senior Manager of Field Applications Engineering to lead a power‑focused FAEs team supporting AI accelerators, servers, and networking platforms for strategic datacenter customers.

You will balance hands‑on program ownership with building a high‑performance team, requiring deep power electronics expertise and strong customer credibility to scale execution across multiple accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Significant prior experience as a Field Applications Engineer with hands‑on responsibility for power supply or power management products.
• 8+ years of experience in power electronics, digital multiphase power delivery, server or AI platform power, or related hardware systems.
• Deep technical expertise in power modules, digital multiphase controllers, VRMs, and high‑current, low‑voltage conversion for datacenter platforms.
• Strong lab‑based debug skills including use of oscilloscopes, current probes, electronic loads, and transient response analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to interface directly with customers on complex power topics and drive issues to closure.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience in a team lead, supervisory, managerial, or equivalent player/coach role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to customer, executive, and internal audiences.

Responsabilités

• Lead strategic datacenter engagements and drive system-level power architecture programs from concept to production.
• Provide leadership on power modules, digital multiphase power delivery for AI accelerators, servers, and networking platforms.
• Personally own complex customer programs, including architecture reviews, validation planning, bring‑up, and power sequencing analysis.
• Troubleshoot power issues with lab instrumentation and coordinate fast resolutions with internal teams.
• Deliver high‑quality customer‑facing materials such as validation results and program updates.
• Coach FAEs on system‑level power thinking, executive communication, and career development.
