Job summary

GBA is seeking a Data Center Owner's Representative to lead and oversee mission‑critical data center projects from design through turnover. You will act as the Owner's advocate, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality and readiness. Strong leadership and coordination with architects, engineers, and contractors are essential.

This role requires deep MEP/civil/structural knowledge, regional/national travel, and experience with $100M+ projects in fast-track environments.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of progressive experience managing large-scale construction projects.
• Direct experience overseeing projects $100M+ in value with fast-track delivery schedules.
• Proven ability to interface with Owners, A&E firms, GCs, trade contractors, and commissioning providers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Owner contact and advocate through design, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
• Lead Owner-side meetings, steering committees, and milestone reviews with clear direction.
• Align project execution with Owner objectives, standards, and risk management policies.
• Review design development documents to ensure resiliency and scalability.
• Coordinate with A&E firms to validate constructability and code compliance.
• Oversee contractor submittals, RFIs, and change orders on behalf of the Owner.
• Track schedule milestones, costs, and contingencies; escalate issues with recommendations.
