Job summary

GBA Companies is seeking a Data Center Owner’s Representative to lead mission-critical projects from site selection through turnover. You will act as the Owner’s trusted advocate, guiding design, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness with a focus on schedule, budget, and quality.

The role requires deep MEP/civil expertise, strong financial acumen, and proven leadership coordinating large teams and complex stakeholders on projects valued at $100M+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 7–10+ years managing large-scale construction projects, with 5+ years in data center environments.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, civil/structural design, and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Owner advocate across design, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
• Lead Owner-side meetings, steering committees, and milestone reviews with clear direction.
• Align project execution with Owner’s objectives, standards, and risk policies.
• Oversee budget, schedule, QA/QC, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
