Job summary

Worldwide Mission Critical is seeking a Project Manager to act as the Owner’s Representative for mission critical data center construction projects. You will manage design/engineering, procurement, and construction contractors while overseeing budget tracking, schedule adherence, and change-order avoidance.

The role requires strong communication, detailed contract administration skills, and a track record in complex construction environments. On-site work is expected as projects advance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years in construction/project management or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in construction/project management.
• Experience with construction contract administration.
• Knowledge of construction practices.
• Experience in mission critical environment desirable.
• Strong computing skills.
• Proficient in Excel, MS Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High initiative, self-direction, and attention to detail.
• Ability to motivate contractors and manage complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Act as Owner’s representative adding value to data center construction projects.
• Oversee Owner’s design/engineering, procurement, and construction contractors.
• Monitor budget status and schedule; minimize change orders.
• Review submittals, drawings, and reports; ensure quality and compliance.
• Manage contract processes and documents (RFI’s, change orders).
• Coordinate site activities, progress billing, and commissioning review.
• Facilitate Owner’s meetings and site tours for investors or stakeholders.
• Provide cash flow forecasting and payment processing support.
