Job summary

Dean | Fluor is seeking a Critical Facilities Manager to lead the operations and maintenance of a mission critical government data center. This role oversees safety, risk mitigation and operations across electrical, mechanical, HVAC and life-safety systems during assigned shifts.

You will supervise operators, help develop SOPs and training, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with the client and vendors. A strong background in electrical/HVAC and security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 10+ years of hands-on experience in an environment with critical complex equipment and 10+ years of supervisory experience in O&M of large complex buildings or mission critical environments.
• Strong electrical and HVAC background including UPS, emergency power, chillers and cooling towers, and air handling units.
• Ability to read and comprehend work orders, equipment manuals, safety manuals, and other materials related to the job.
• Must be able to work a rotating shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and be available 24/7/365.
• Must be able to achieve and maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage rotating shift of operators monitoring and controlling system applications.
• Assist in developing SOPs, operator aids, and training programs for operators.
• Ensure compliance with safety, operating codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate CMMS-based scheduling, dispatch, and reporting of maintenance and repairs.
• Provide formal reports on events affecting the facility and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Brief management on facilities issues and weather or other factors affecting the facility.
• Perform other duties as required.
