Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is a leader in AI cloud infrastructure, seeking a data center leader to manage a team of technicians and ensure uptime across multiple facilities. The role involves coordinating deployments, maintaining security and reliability, and working with engineering, supply chain, and customer experience teams.

The position requires presence in the Elk Grove Data Center five days a week and a background in critical infrastructure with strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure and operations.
• Basic Linux administration knowledge.
• Experience setting up networking appliances across multiple locations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability follow instructions.
• Willingness to mentor teammates and grow leadership skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to align data center goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data center technicians.
• Maintain high availability, reliability, and security in the data center.
• Rack, label, cabling, and configure new servers, storage, and networking gear.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in advanced systems.
• Document data center layout and topology in DCIM software.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering for deployments.
