Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Infrastructure Operations team for data centers in Texas. You will oversee facility infrastructure, MEP systems, and the daily operation, guiding department heads and technicians with a focus on safety, availability, and efficiency.

You will partner across AWS to maintain the highest standards for reliability while managing vendor relations and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

Experience delivering design solutions for large scope and complex projects
Experience managing large teams across locations and languages
Strong written and verbal communication to senior leadership

Responsibilities

Hiring, managing, and developing the operations management team including facilities managers and senior engineers
Achieving safety, security, availability, scalability, and efficiency goals for data center operations
Plan and execute infrastructure builds including mechanical/electrical/plumbing for daily operation
Operate and maintain MEP systems with preventive and corrective maintenance
Vendor management for data center services to meet SLA targets
Oversight of preventative maintenance systems and schedules
Balance insourcing/outsourcing maintenance tasks with internal skills and cost control
Respond to safety, security, and availability incidents and drive resolution
Continuously improve operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools
