Amazon is seeking a Data Center Cluster Operations Leader for the AMER North East DC Ops. You will lead senior operations across DCO and DCEO, directing teams responsible for compute, electrical, mechanical systems, safety, and cost management in Amazon data centers.

The role requires extensive management experience, a track record of delivering complex programs, and the ability to scale the world’s largest cloud infrastructure with a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of relevant management experience in Data Centers operations or facility engineering operations.
• Proven ability to hire, develop and manage high-performing geographically distributed technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and develop the operations team, including managers and their teams.
• Achieve organizational goals for safety, security, availability, scaling, efficiency, and cost.
• Plan and execute Infrastructure Operations for new Data Centers and Colocation expansions.
• Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, and controls systems in Data Centers.
• Manage Colocation Data Centers service providers to meet SLAs.
• Lead safety, security, and availability incident response and resolution.
• Improve operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools continuously.
