Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a data center network operations lead to oversee hardware repair, fiber splicing, testing, and 24/7/365 support in large-scale environments. You will guide a team of technicians, diagnose issues via CLI tools, and ensure SLA-driven service delivery across server, storage, and network hardware.

The role requires the ability to perform advanced diagnostics, manage escalations, and travel up to 10% domestically.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on data center experience.
• Minimum 5+ years IT support, hardware diagnostics, and repair in enterprise environments.
• At least 2+ years in people management or team leadership.
• Strong CLI proficiency with Cisco CLI, Linux/Unix shells, iDRAC, iLO.
• Experience troubleshooting fiber, server, storage, and network hardware.
• Familiar with network tools and protocols (ping, traceroute, SNMP, syslog).

Responsibilities

• Lead field-based technical teams in fast-paced operations.
• Monitor workloads, drive deliverables, and optimize productivity.
• Maintain incident resolution docs and root-cause analyses.
• Manage ticket queues and SLA adherence.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and maintenance windows.
• Ensure compliance with MOPs and CMOPs.
• Provide operational continuity in the absence of the Site Supervisor.
• Lead and coordinate daily team activities and workloads.
• Monitor technician output and performance against targets.
• Ensure safety and quality standards across all site activities.
