Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Modular Designer based in the United States to lead the design of modular data center systems, including enclosures and skid frames. You will develop detailed 3D models and drawings, coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams, and drive standards, documentation, and quality practices across projects.

The role emphasizes ownership of design for manufacturability, participation in reviews, and collaboration with clients to meet technical and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering and design experience, including sheet metal and welded structures.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical design and modular systems.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks; AutoCAD and Revit are a plus.
• Experience designing for manufacturability with ISO 9001 awareness.
• Experience supporting product development and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical development of modular data center systems.
• Create and maintain 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks; support AutoCAD and Revit coordination.
• Establish MCAD design standards and documentation workflows aligned with DfMA.
• Ensure designs meet manufacturability, quality, and production requirements.
• Provide guidance to junior designers and coordinate with external resources.
• Support proposals and client bids with conceptual layouts and preliminary designs.
• Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and client discussions.
• Develop shop drawing packages, specifications, and technical reports.
