Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design and implementation of modular infrastructure solutions—enclosures, skids, and factory-built assemblies—for data center, utility, fiber, and telecom sectors.

You will drive HVAC, piping, sheet metal, and control integration, from concept through FAT/SAT and handover, within a multi-discipline team. The role demands hands-on CAD expertise, manufacturing exposure, and a track record of delivering robust, compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Experience in HVAC, piping, sheet metal/weldments, dynamic analysis, and controls integration.
• Proficient in 3D/2D CAD and PLM/PDM; GD&T and drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for modular products (enclosures, skids, racks) including HVAC architecture and control sequences.
• Develop piping and fluid systems; create P&IDs/isometrics and perform line sizing.
• Architect sheet metal/structural assemblies for manufacturability; specify welds, finishes, and inspection methods.
• Perform or review dynamic/mechanical analyses and validate with tests and simulations.
• Support manufacturing on the factory floor, resolve build issues, and supervise FAT/SAT and commissioning.
