Job summary

ClearBridge Executive Search is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead design and implementation of modular infrastructure solutions for Data Center, Utility, Fiber, and Telecommunications sectors. You will guide HVAC, piping, sheet metal, and control integration from concept to commissioning, with hands-on manufacturing experience and strong project leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
6–10 years of mechanical design experience in manufacturing or industrial product development.
Strong background in HVAC, piping/fluid systems, sheet metal/weldments, dynamic analysis, and materials selection.
Proficiency with CAD tools (Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PLM/PDM systems.
Hands‑on validation testing (FAT/SAT), commissioning, and field support.

Responsibilities

Design Leadership — Lead mechanical design for modular products, including HVAC, airflow/thermal design, piping, and structural assemblies.
Documentation — Produce and approve models, drawings, specifications, and test plans; maintain configuration control.
Project Execution — Manage engineering workstreams, lead design reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Manufacturing Support — Support fabrication, testing, and commissioning; resolve build issues and lead root‑cause investigations.
Compliance & Safety — Apply relevant codes/standards, ensure safety and reliability, and contribute to continuous improvement.
