Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Strategic Negotiator, Data Center Leasing and Investments, to lead complex multi-million-dollar real estate negotiations and drive strategic capacity expansion for global infrastructure.

You will guide teams, architect commercial models, and collaborate with Legal and Finance to mitigate long-term risks while delivering multi-billion-dollar savings and accelerated capacity delivery for Google’s data center footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 14 years of experience leading negotiations or business development.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end negotiation and execution of high-value real estate agreements, colocation leases, power purchase agreements, and joint ventures.
• Architect commercial models like NNN leases and sales-leasebacks, negotiating business terms with Legal and Finance to mitigate long-term operational risks.
• Conduct research and modeling to assess capacity needs and strategic expansion markets, while cultivating relationships with key colocation providers and developers.
• Build business cases using Net Present Value (NPV) and Return on Investment (ROI) metrics, presenting agreement summaries to executive leadership to justify multi-million-dollar investments and secure approvals.
• Interface between internal technical teams and external partners, implementing tracking systems to align infrastructure needs with commercial reality.
