Job summary

Google’s Strategic Negotiation team seeks a Strategic Negotiator to secure infrastructure for Google’s global products, including data center space and colocation leases. You will combine market knowledge with tech acumen to negotiate cost-effective solutions and present deal recommendations to Tech leadership.

Your work spans market evaluation through agreement execution, coordinating with Legal, Finance, and Technical teams, and driving cost-efficiency across projects on an international scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience negotiating and structuring agreements or leading business development.
• 6 years of experience in commercial or industrial real estate, sourcing, or infrastructure acquisition.
• Experience with corporate finance concepts (e.g., NPV, ROI) and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of critical real estate leases and agreements by assisting in the agreement, redlining, and management of contractual and business terms.
• Ensure alignment by coordinating closely with internal Legal, Finance, and Technical teams to meet project timelines.
• Conduct market research and financial analysis (including NPV, ROI, and TCO modeling) to forecast pricing, analyze the market landscape, and assess new markets.
• Prepare investment summaries and draft financial business cases for review by executive leadership.
• Maintain tracking systems for the development pipeline and provide regular reports on portfolio performance metrics and market trends.
