Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a seasoned Data Centre Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L3) to provide expert third-line onsite and remote field engineering support. You will pro-actively identify and resolve incidents, ensure SLA adherence, and work across Cisco, NetApp, EMC and other datacenter technologies.

Hybrid working environment with opportunities to lead troubleshooting, install/configure solutions, and document knowledge articles for ongoing service improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Data Center tech certifications such as HPE Proliant, 3PAR, Primera, Alletra, Simplicity, Synergy, StoreOnce, MSA Storage, Dell PowerEdge Unity/PowerStore/Isilon.
• VMware Certified VCP-DCV, vSAN, SRM.
• Cisco UCS.
• Azure Fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Configures client-site infrastructure to be installed, tested and operational.
• Installs and configures software per client requirements.
• Proactively identifies problems and logs incidents with required details.
• Liaises with client IT environments, carriers and colleagues for rapid resolution.
• Investigates third-line incidents to determine root cause.
• Responds to alerts and escalates if unresolved within SLAs.
• Updates incidents with progress and resolution details.
