Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Lead Engineer for Data Center Facilities to oversee critical data center operations and maintenance. You will manage technical teams, monitor power and cooling systems, and drive reliability, efficiency, and safety across multi-site facilities.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, finalize preventive maintenance plans, and prepare reports for management and clients. The role requires after-hours support and a strong focus on incident response.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in data center operations and management.
• Strong knowledge of power, cooling, and network infrastructure.
• Familiar with ASHRAE, TIA, Uptime Institute standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with facility management software and BAS.
• Valid certification in CDCP/DCPRO or equivalent; PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data center facility operations and maintenance activities.
• Mentor engineers, technicians, and contractors; lead technical teams.
• Monitor critical systems performance and plan preventive maintenance.
• Ensure safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades.
• Respond to incidents and provide root cause analyses.
• Prepare technical reports and client presentations.
• Provide after-hours support for electrical distribution.
