Job summary

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in data center environments, with hands-on experience with UPS, generators, switchgear, and strong problem-solving and safety practices. The position offers night shifts and competitive compensation in Amarillo/Claude, TX.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a data center/critical facility.
• Experience with UPS systems, emergency generators, and switchgears.
• Ability to traverse large campus-like settings and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Experience with building systems and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and operate all building systems to 100% uptime (fire/life safety, HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Record readings and adjust systems to ensure proper operation.
• Analyze system operations and take corrective action as needed; adhere to safety and hazardous material policies.
• Manage work orders, CMMS, vendor coordination, and customer-facing tickets.

2+ years data center experience

Electrical systems knowledge

Mechanical systems knowledge

HVAC, chillers, CRAH/CRAC familiarity

UPS and emergency power experience

Electrical switchgear and transformers

Reading and recording readings

Emergency response and safety
