Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical for its Data Center and Mission Critical team. You will lead client-facing projects valued at $100M+, coordinating with clients, vendors, and field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of critical electrical infrastructure and white space fit-out.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in electrical construction PM and hands-on experience with IT/telecom/data center projects, including distribution systems and cabling.

Qualifications

• Electrical PM experience in construction environments is required.
• Experience delivering large-scale IT/Telecom and data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and cabling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain safety and adhere to national standards.
• Generate estimates and review proposals.
• Plan timelines, budgets, and resources for $100M+ projects.
• Oversee execution to meet design, budget, and client needs.
• Work with customers to manage expectations before, during, and after projects.
• Coordinate with vendors for materials and equipment delivery.
• Drive project billing and collections.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and risks.
• Develop relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Forecast labor/material needs with senior leadership.
• Provide regular project reporting and financial updates.
• Develop scopes, budgets, and execution, manage changes.
• Mentor project team and drive continuous improvement.
