Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical to join its Data Center and Mission Critical team. You will lead electrical construction projects valued at $100M+ and work closely with clients, field teams, and vendors.

The role requires strong scheduling, budgeting, and leadership, with responsibility for safety, quality, and on-time delivery in fast-paced environments. A Bachelor's degree and electrical credentials are preferred, with PMP or PMI-SP desirable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Electrical Construction Project Management experience.
• 1+ years delivering large-scale IT/Telecommunications Infrastructure projects, including Data Centers.
• Experience with Data Center electrical distribution systems, cabling, and white space fit-out.
• Experience working on retrofits within operational facilities.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Organizational skills with ability to work under deadlines and pressure.
• Strong scheduling, delegation, communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company, client, and project policies and procedures.
• Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety and adherence to national safety standards.
• Generate estimates and review project proposals.
• Establish project timelines, budgets, manpower requirements, and resource allocation for projects valued at $100M+.
• Oversee project execution to ensure design, budget, schedule, quality, and client requirements are achieved.
• Work directly with customers to understand and deliver against expectations before, during, and after project completion.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
• Drive project billing and collections throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, employees, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Assist senior leadership with forecasting future labor and material requirements.
• Provide regular project reporting, updates, and financial information to senior management.
• Forecast project financial performance and implement corrective action where required.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and execution plans.
• Manage RFPs, change management processes, and change documentation.
• Mentor and develop project team members and junior staff.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery, communication, organization, and leadership.
