Metric DCX in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager for Data Center electrical construction. You will lead large-scale projects from preconstruction through completion, coordinating clients, vendors, and internal teams to meet safety, schedule and budget goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction project management experience.
• 5+ years of electrical project management for IT/Telecom/Data Center projects.
• Experience with data center electrical distribution, cabling, and white space fit-out.
• Experience delivering retrofits in operational facilities.
• Knowledge of cross-discipline critical facility systems.
• Strong computer skills and quick-learning project management systems.
• Ability to stay calm under deadlines and external pressure.
• Excellent communication, organization, delegation and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale Data Center electrical construction projects from preconstruction to completion.
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and execution strategies.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and quality across projects.
• Develop client relationships and manage vendor/subcontractor performance.
• Generate estimates and review proposals; lead project reporting to senior management.
• Forecast financial performance and adjust as needed; mentor project staff.
