Job summary

TensorWave is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Data Center) to lead the technical design, validation, and oversight of high-power electrical distribution systems for our data-center scale AI compute platform.

You will work with cross-functional partners to ensure reliable power delivery, system resilience, and compliance with industry standards, while supporting next-generation AI hardware deployment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7+ years of design, construction, and commissioning of mission-critical electrical systems.
• Expert knowledge of high- and low-voltage power distribution systems.
• P.E. license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design review and validation of high-power electrical distribution systems (medium voltage switchgear, UPS, paralleling switchgear, generators).
• Model electrical infrastructure for high-density power delivery at rack level ensuring fault tolerance and selectivity.
• Conduct power quality, short-circuit, and arc-flash analyses using SKM or ETAP.
• Provide SME input during construction, commissioning (Level 4/5 testing), and operation to resolve complex issues.
• Ensure designs comply with NFPA 70 (NEC), IEEE, and company safety standards.
