Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to own low-voltage design standards for high-density AI infrastructure. You will lead design from transformer secondary through switchgear, UPS, and rack-level power delivery, developing architectures for 480V and 415V systems for GPU clusters.

You will coordinate across data center facilities, mechanical systems, and operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency while adhering to NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with data centers, mission-critical facilities, or large industrial environments.
• Familiar with NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, and NETA standards.
• Ability to translate IT requirements into safe, scalable facility designs.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical design standards and reference architectures for low-voltage systems.
• Lead design from transformer secondary through switchgear, UPS, and rack-level power delivery.
• Develop architectures for 480V and 415V AC systems for GPU clusters.
• Define requirements for switchgear, switchboards, UPS, PDS, grounding, metering, and monitoring.
• Model loads, GPU power behavior, transient demand, harmonics, and redundancy.
• Create and review single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and design documents.
• Evaluate designs for reliability, efficiency, maintainability, and cost.
• Perform or oversee load-flow, short-circuit, coordination, arc-flash, and power-quality studies.
• Coordinate electrical requirements across data center facilities and operations.
