Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Electrical Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize MV/LV electrical distribution for high-density data centers. You will create one-line drawings, develop high-power HPC/AI/ML cluster designs, and ensure safety and compliance across projects.

Ideal candidates have a PE license, 5+ years in data-center power systems, and strong CAD/electrical modeling skills to support global infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5+ years of experience in data-center electrical engineering, mission-critical facilities, or industrial power systems
• Experience creating and maintaining MV/LV one-line drawings and electrical documentation
• Experience with MV switchgear, LV switchboards, UPS systems, transformers, and high-power distribution
• Strong understanding of HPC/AI/ML electrical requirements, high-density rack power, and redundant distribution architectures
• Proficiency with CAD tools and electrical modeling software

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and optimize MV/LV electrical distribution for data centers.
• Create MV/LV one-line drawings across switchgear, UPS, transformers.
• Develop high-power HPC/AI/ML cluster electrical designs.
• Produce schematics, load calculations, arc-flash analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate reviews.
• Ensure NEC/IEEE/NFPA compliance and safety standards.
• Support design reviews, vendor evaluations, commissioning
