Job summary

CoreSite, LLC is seeking a Critical Operations Engineer II to operate and maintain mission-critical electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems in our Reston data center. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate CMMS work orders to minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on experience with data center infrastructure, strong safety and teamwork skills, and the ability to guide junior staff while adhering to procedures and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical data center electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems to ensure uptime.
• Perform facility inspections, respond to abnormal conditions, and document findings.
• Track, trend, and analyze system performance; utilize CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance.
• Provide advanced remote hands and assist with incident response.
