Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Critical Operations Engineer I to join our Data Center Operations team in Denver, CO. You will operate, monitor, and maintain mission-critical electrical, mechanical, cooling, and life-safety systems to ensure uptime and reliability, while supporting customer infrastructure projects and continuous improvement.

This role involves responding to alarms, documenting findings, managing work orders in CMMS, and collaborating with vendors and senior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required; data center experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, safety, and reliability mindset.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-availability environments.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain critical data center systems to ensure uptime.
• Respond to alarms and abnormal conditions and document findings.
• Track performance and manage work orders using CMMS.
• Provide advanced remote hands and support customer requests.
