CoreSite is seeking a Critical Operations Engineer II to join the Data Center Operations team on the day shift. You will operate, monitor, and maintain mission-critical electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems to ensure uptime, while collaborating with technicians, vendors, and customers to drive operational excellence.

The role emphasizes advanced knowledge of facility interdependencies, CMMS-driven work orders, and proactive issue resolution to support customer infrastructure projects

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or greater.
• 2-5 years of data center industry experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with large electrical and mechanical systems.
• Military experience with HVAC or electrical training is a good fit.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems to ensure uptime.
• Perform facility inspections, respond to abnormal conditions, and document findings.
• Track, trend, and analyze system performance; use CMMS to manage work orders.
• Collaborate with technicians, vendors and customers to drive operational excellence.
