Job summary

CoreSite, LLC is seeking a Critical Operations Engineer II to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot essential data center systems on the 2nd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM). The role emphasizes reliability, collaboration with technicians and vendors, and continuous process improvements.

You will mentor junior staff and ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Perform inspections, respond to abnormal conditions, document findings.
• Track and analyze system performance using CMMS and monitoring tools.
• Provide remote hands, manage trouble tickets, incidents, and customer requests.
• Lead documentation and procedural improvements with the team.
