Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Colo Engineer to work with internal teams and colo vendors to ensure site availability and capacity. You will help develop standards, review submittals, and evaluate risks across AWS Colo data centers.

The role involves lifecycle support from design inception to maintenance. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in data center operations and engineering, strong design review skills, and comfort working with cross-functional teams in mission-critical

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance.
• Experience in mission critical facilities incl. data centers, power generation, or oil & gas.
• Ability to manage engineering projects and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Colo control standards with CoDeS.
• Review and approve controls design for new Colo Data Centers.
• Identify risks in BMS/EPMS and automation drawings and codes.
• Provide lifecycle support from design through site maintenance.
