Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Design Engineer to lead BMS/EPMS standards for global data centers.

You will develop specifications, coordinate with engineers and project managers, and drive cost-effective controls implementations across Leased/Owned and Colocation facilities. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in data center engineering, strong knowledge of building operations, and ability to travel ~25% internationally.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center controls, BMS/EPMS programming concepts and standards.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings, and one-line diagrams.
• Familiarity with building operations and environmental control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global design standards for BMS/EPMS.
• Create SOWs and specifications for projects and upgrades.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
• Lead vendor selection, bid reviews, and submittal reviews.
• Support on-call rotations and travel as needed.
