Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer to lead the design, testing, and deployment of data center control systems across AWS Colo facilities.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable operation and scalable capacity while driving efficiency and cost reductions. You will review, refine, and implement standards for Colo controls, oversee life-cycle support from design through commissioning, and lead internal training to share best practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new and existing standards with the CoDeS team.
• Review design and equipment submittals for Colo Data Centers to ensure consistent AWS standards.
• Identify risks within BMS/EPMS and automation controls drawings and review control sequences.
