Job summary

SR2 seeks an experienced Controls Engineer to own BMS/BAS/EPMS across multiple data centers, driving design, optimization, and maintenance. You will lead commissioning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for critical mechanical and electrical systems while developing standardized SOOs and monitoring.

You will oversee contractors, upgrades, and new installations, and optimize cooling plant controls to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of controls engineering experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong technical background in BMS/BAS/EPMS, PLC programming, SCADA, BACnet, Modbus and industrial networking.
• Experience with mechanical plant controls, HVAC automation, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

We're working with a fast-growing, well-funded data center operator expanding its footprint across the US. They're looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to take ownership of BMS, BAS, and EPMS infrastructure across their facilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with mechanical plant controls, HVAC automation, and commissioning.
• Ability to manage controls projects from design through commissioning and operational handover.
• Comfortable with up to 40% travel and a rotating on-call schedule.
