Job summary

Currie & Brown is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on a major hyperscale data center program in La Porte, IN. This boots-on-the-ground role focuses on driving daily construction activity, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety and quality, and ensuring work progresses on schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of superintendent or field construction leadership experience.
• Experience leading hyperscale data centers, mission-critical facilities, semiconductor, manufacturing, or large industrial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations and oversee onsite construction activities.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners to maintain production and quality standards.
• Monitor daily work activities to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Conduct daily site walks to identify safety concerns, quality issues, and potential schedule impacts.
• Drive field coordination between trades and project teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals for correct installation.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with codes and specs.
• Oversee safety, site requirements, and SWPPP compliance.
• Oversee heavy civil construction activities (grading, utilities, paving, drainage).
• Lead daily coordination and safety meetings and support turnover.
