Job summary

Legacy Professional Services, LLC is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on hyperscale data center construction projects from mobilization through final turnover.

You will provide day-to-day leadership for all on-site construction activities, overseeing subcontractors, coordinating trades, and ensuring work is safe, efficient, and compliant with project specs and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Eight or more years of commercial construction experience with increasing field leadership.
• Proven experience leading field operations on hyperscale data center projects.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, MEP coordination, commissioning, and turnover.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, schedules, and technical docs.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple scopes; strong leadership and communication.
• Proficiency with Procore, BIM 360, and Bluebeam; MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations for hyperscale data center construction from mobilization to closeout.
• Direct and coordinate subcontractors across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and trades.
• Foster safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork on the jobsite.
• Supervise Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers and provide mentorship.
• Manage schedules with look-ahead planning, phasing, and milestones.
• Collaborate with MEP teams and commissioning to support IST and owner turnover.
• Lead quality inspections, resolve field issues, and ensure specs and submittals compliance.
• Oversee logistics, deliveries, access control, laydown areas, and productivity.
• Maintain daily reports, manpower tracking, and communication with leadership.
• Lead punch-list completion, inspections, and project closeout.
