Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Permanent Superintendent to lead data-center construction projects in Columbus, OH, overseeing planning through execution to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with top-quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in data-center construction, strong knowledge of construction procedures and OSH guidelines, and experience with electrical/plumbing/HVAC systems; you will read blueprints and manage teams, with excellent communication and negotiation

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in data-center construction, specifically in a superintendent role.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
• Understanding of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing large-scale, ground-up construction projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects.
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
