Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Superintendent to lead data-center construction projects across the United States. This role focuses on ground-up, large-scale facilities where schedule, safety, and quality drive every decision.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage daily site activities, and work with owners, engineers, and vendors to keep projects on time and within budget. A strong background in data-center builds and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in data-center construction, specifically in a superintendent role.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
• Understanding of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing large-scale, ground-up construction projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects.
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
