Job summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a Data Center Sr. Project Manager, Construction to deliver construction projects for the Data Center business. You will lead an inter-disciplinary team, manage capital budgets, and drive aggressive timelines while ensuring safety and 99.999% uptime.
The role requires extensive experience in data center construction, strong leadership, and travel up to 20% to coordinate with clients, real estate and finance teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years delivering data center construction projects with client-facing experience.
- Experience with budgeting, contracts, vendor oversight and procurement processes.
- Proven leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or Business/Finance; travel up to 20%.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise an inter-disciplinary project team of construction managers and contractors.
- Develop detailed schedules and capital budgets; oversee bid processes and change orders.
- Oversee commissioning, testing of mechanical/electrical/IT systems and SOP/MOP development.
- Audit installed components for scope completion, design validation and code adherence.
