Job summary

Aegis Project Controls is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to provide construction management support for our data center practice. 3 to 7 years of construction experience is required, with a focus on monitoring design, bidding, cost and scheduling events with transparent reporting.

Escalation of risk to the client is the top priority, while decisions on schedule and cost are coordinated with the client and A/E team.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years construction experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or five+ years of direct construction experience may waive degree.
• Acute attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication; proactive risk escalation.

Responsibilities

• Escalate issues to the client with full transparency to aid quick resolutions.
• Review pay applications for accuracy before sending to the client.
• Review change orders and ensure supporting information is clear; escalate if outstanding >30 days.
• Review OFCI invoices to verify correct equipment delivery and condition.
• Daily review of logs, photos and trackers to monitor progress and risks.
• Meet with the CM daily to discuss activities and coordinate RFIs and submittals.
• Escalate risks (schedule, cost, safety, quality) to the client; maintain weekly updates.
