Job summary

The Aegis Companies is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to provide scheduling support for data center projects. You will work with client project managers, construction professionals, and stakeholders to develop, manage, and monitor CPM schedules across the project life cycle.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project controls and CPM scheduling in vertical construction, with data center experience and Primavera P6 proficiency. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling for vertical construction.
• Two+ years of project controls experience for data centers.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field unless five years of direct vertical construction experience.
• Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequences.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Familiarity with planning and scheduling contractual clauses.
• AACEI PSP or PMI-SP certifications preferred.
• This role is full-time on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor CPM schedules.
• Review documents to build baseline schedules with dates, activities, and milestones.
• Update progress schedules with reports and narratives.
• Analyze schedules and provide action recommendations.
• Conduct site walks for progress validation and monthly reporting.
• Present contractor progress to management.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks.
• Manage costs and resources and produce reports.
• Identify risks and impacts in project schedules.
• Communicate status and challenges to stakeholders.
