Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Construction Manager to lead a team across one or more data center projects in Texas. You will drive scope, schedule, budget, and risk management, coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure design intent and operational readiness.

The role emphasizes preconstruction, buyout, safety, commissioning, and turnover, with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and scalable performance for hyperscale environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent.
• 5+ years as a project engineer in assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity.
• 7+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop project teams, including third-party resources.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and risk across all phases.
• Oversee preconstruction, due diligence, and buyout activities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, design teams, trade partners, and Operations.
• Monitor financials and track EAC with project controls.
• Lead contractor billing and progress tracking.
• Direct safety programs and QA/QC compliance.
• Lead startup, commissioning, and facility turnover.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; maintain site visibility.
• Travel 10–30% as needed.
