Job summary

Vantage Data Centers seeks a Vice President of Construction to lead multi-market construction efforts across North America. You will oversee campus teams, manage CAPEX budgets, coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Finance, and ensure delivery from pre-construction through commissioning and turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 10–15 years in a management role; 15–20 years preferred.
• Data Center construction experience required.
• Experience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP construction management.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of construction cost analysis, estimating, and budget management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to drive cross-functional coordination and integration.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Travel up to 90% but may adjust over time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction functions across all active markets.
• Lead a team of construction directors responsible for each campus.
• Hold teams accountable for managing CAPEX budgets and financial controls.
• Drive all phases of construction from pre-construction to closeout.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and integrate lessons into future builds.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across regions.
• Develop and maintain vendor/contractor relationships.
• Generate monthly/quarterly leadership reports.
• Provide cost analysis and estimating capabilities for projects.
• Support operations with design criteria and maintenance alignment.
• Mentor and coach team; drive continuous improvement.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
