Job summary

Spectraforce seeks a senior Lead Construction Manager for Lease Delivery to serve as Owner's Representative for a portfolio of leased data center projects. This 12-month contract involves ~50% travel across North America, with independent decision-making and leadership of cross-functional teams.

You will own cost and schedule certainties, coordinate with landlords, GCs, and vendors, and drive safe turnover of data halls. Strong CPM scheduling and live data center experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 15+ years of directly related data center or critical infrastructure construction experience
• Proven Owner's Representative or Senior Construction PM on hyperscale data center programs
• Leadership of large contractor workforces and multi-site portfolios; programs $300M–$1.5B+
• Experience managing multiple projects across phases of construction
• Strong background in commissioning for retrofit projects and tenant improvements
• Experience negotiating complex landlord-driven change orders to protect cost/schedule
• General knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and connectivity systems
• Strong CPM scheduling and Primavera P6 proficiency
• Senior certifications preferred (PMP, RMP, PCP, PBA, OSHA 30)
• MS Office proficiency (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Lead construction, commissioning, and turnover of data center fit-out projects across multiple leased properties
• Maintain owner-side accountability for cost and schedule certainty
• Direct supporting Construction Managers and contractor workforces
• Coordinate with landlords, GCs, designers, consultants, and vendors; provide executive-level reporting
• Lead cost-change processes and negotiate landlord-driven change orders
• Drive schedule management and recovery plans across multiple packages
• Oversee field oversight, site walks, and turnover readiness
• Manage live data center work and ensure safety and quality standards
