Job summary

Worldwide Mission Critical is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to serve as the Owner’s Representative for mission-critical data center construction projects from design through commissioning. You will manage Owner’s design, engineering, procurement, and construction contractors while maintaining oversight of budget and schedule.

This role minimizes Owner risk and ensures all contractors perform per their agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in construction or project management.
• Experience with construction contract administration and related practices.
• Prior experience in mission-critical or data center environments preferred.
• Strong proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• High initiative, self-direction, and attention to detail in a team setting.
• Ability to motivate contractors and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Owner as Owner’s representative for data center construction projects from design through commissioning.
• Monitor daily site activities, scheduling, and delivery of equipment and materials.
• Review submittals, drawings, and reports to identify and resolve issues early.
• Track progress, budget, and schedule; report to Owner and leadership.
• Manage contract documents including RFIs and change orders.
• Review contractor payments for accuracy relative to progress.
• Assist in cash flow forecasting and payment processing; engage with contractors.
• Coordinate commissioning, QA/QC activities and reporting.
• Facilitate field visits with operations staff and O&M providers.
• Lead internal team to produce client deliverables and inspections.
• Coordinate site tours for investors, utility reps, and stakeholders.
• Lead or support construction contract negotiations and RFPs.
• Perform due diligence and site assessments for new opportunities.
• Coordinate with Owner’s consultants throughout the lifecycle.
