Job summary

Spectraforce is seeking a Construction Manager to lead onsite Data Center fitouts in leased properties across North America. You will own the construction scope, coordinate contractors and vendors, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure clean handovers.

Candidates should have 7–10 years in data center/construction, CPM scheduling (Primavera P6), and a CM/engineering degree. Expect 50% travel across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of professional experience in construction, operations, maintenance, and project planning.
• Experience in data centers/critical infrastructure and leased facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite construction, commissioning, and turnover of Data Center fitout projects in leased properties.
• Support the Lead CM with contractor, designer, and vendor management.
• Own construction scope across North America and drive schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with Contractors, Landlords, Consultants and cross-functional partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships to drive efficiency and ensure safe, on-time delivery.
• Create and maintain project schedules and ROM budgets; manage CapEx forecasting.
• Prepare and review MOPs for retrofit/remedy work; monitor progress via weekly status reports.
• Escalate issues to keep turnover dates reliable and predictable.
