Job summary

Switch is seeking a Senior Data Center Construction Manager to lead large-scale data center projects from pre-construction to turnover. You will serve as the on-site leader for general contractors and cross-functional teams, operating with autonomy and reporting to the Director of Construction.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, schedule management, budget control, and regulatory compliance across sites, with collaboration across Design Eng, Networking, Controls, Security, Supply Chain

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction management on large-scale projects.
• Experience delivering data center or critical infrastructure projects.
• Excellent knowledge of M/E/IT systems in mission-critical facilities.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full construction lifecycle from pre-construction through turnover.
• Manage on-site leadership of general contractors and trade partners.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and recovery plans.
• Own project budget performance and cost forecasting.
• Ensure safety culture and regulatory compliance on sites.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering, Networking, Controls, Security, Supply Chain, Operations.
• Deliver executive updates on safety, schedule, cost, and risk.
