Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Construction & Development in San Antonio to lead data center construction projects with emphasis on mission-critical MEP systems. You will oversee planning, permitting, procurement, and execution from inception through turnover.

The role requires hands-on leadership, budget and schedule control, risk management, and coordinating across internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in mission-critical data center development, general construction, or heavy MEP systems construction.
• Experience leading construction project teams, including third-party owners’ project managers, subcontractors, and General Contractors.
• Experience negotiating construction, procurement, and labor contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and permitting for major data center projects.
• Collaborate with Procurement to issue RFPs for General Contractors.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and weekly director updates.
• Oversee design-build documentation lifecycle and procurement requirements.
• Coordinate across Development, Design, Engineering, Procurement, Commissioning, Operations, Finance, Legal, and external partners.
• Travel up to 25% to project sites and key locations while maintaining on-site presence.
