Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our Data Center Design, Engineering & Construction team. You will oversee the construction, commissioning and turnover of data center facilities within a campus program, ensuring uptime, capacity and cost control.

Responsibilities include budgeting, schedule risk management, vendor and contract negotiation, and coordinating with procurement, design and operations to deliver on-time, high-quality turnkey projects.

Qualifications

12+ years of work experience in construction management.
Bachelor's in engineering or construction management or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Manage the construction, commissioning, and turnover of a Data Center within a campus program.
Manage the budget associated with the project.
Negotiate vendor and contractor contracts and purchase orders as needed.
Mitigate risk for the project through pre-planning, innovative planning, and partnership.
Develop cost savings solutions and identify project savings/underruns early.
Support the pre-construction efforts for upcoming projects.
Travel to headquarters and other Meta sites up to 10%.
Respond to emergencies as needed.
