Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for the Data Center Engineering & Construction Team. You will oversee the construction, commissioning, and turnover of data center facilities within campus programs, driving on-time delivery, cost control, and safety.

The role requires strong budget management, risk mitigation, and collaboration with GCs, vendors, and cross-functional partners to optimize readouts and ensure zero punch lists at turnover.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of work experience in construction management.
• Multi-project experience in large-scale construction, mission critical, infrastructure, or data centers.
• General knowledge of civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of capital budget management and contract administration.
• Negotiation skills and experience providing practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction, commissioning, and turnover of a Data Center within a campus program.
• Manage the budget associated with the project.
• Manage the cost change process and negotiate best pricing.
• Manage the schedule and associated risks to ensure reliable turnover dates.
• Manage warranty and tenant improvement work in the live environment as needed.
• Coordinate with procurement/sourcing groups to support the project needs.
• Support pre-construction efforts for upcoming projects and promote prefabrication strategies.
• Support campus and regional construction teams with contractor, designer, and vendor management.
