Job summary

Meta is seeking a Lease Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of leased data center facilities powering Meta's global infrastructure. You will serve as Meta's primary construction representative on colocation and build-to-suit data center projects, ensuring shell and core construction, critical infrastructure, and tenant improvements meet Meta's specifications, schedule, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in construction management.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards including fire protection regulations.
• Knowledge of capital budget management.
• Negotiation skills and ability to provide solutions.
• Experience using Primavera P6 for scheduling.
• Proficient with Google Workspace.
• Proficient with Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Meta's owner's representative on leased data center construction projects.
• Review landlord construction documents to ensure alignment with design standards.
• Monitor construction progress with site visits to assess schedule, quality, and contract conformance.
• Coordinate tenant improvement construction activities with general contractors and subcontractors.
• Track and manage schedules, budgets, and change orders across projects.
• Lead construction milestone reviews and system testing for UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling, and fire suppression.
• Identify risks and quality issues and drive resolution with landlords.
• Collaborate with commissioning teams to transition from construction to operations.
• Track landlord delivery obligations and completion milestones in lease agreements.
• Contribute to development of standards and vendor qualification processes.
