Job summary

Ramboll, a global engineering and design firm, seeks a Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer to lead data-center and large industrial site development in the Americas. You will drive feasibility, master planning, permitting, and design with cross-disciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality, compliant solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in civil/site engineering, a PE license, and strong coordination with AHJs. The role offers hybrid work in multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of civil/site experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred, with comity licensure options.
• Extensive land development and site civil design for large, complex projects.
• Strong PM and technical expertise in grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, permitting, budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination.
• Experience with AHJs and leading multidisciplinary teams; familiarity with Civil 3D and permitting in PA, WA, TX, LA.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development services for data centers and large industrial projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, client communications, proposals, and subconsultants.
• Direct site layout, grading, stormwater, drainage, utilities, access, erosion control, and permitting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, agencies, and authorities.
• Review deliverables, mentor staff, support client development and market expansion.
