Job summary

Ramboll in the Americas is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead site civil design for data center, mission‑critical, and large industrial projects. You will guide from site selection through construction, working with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a 5+ year civil/site background, a PE license (preferred), and strong project management, budgeting, and client‑facing skills, with hybrid work across multiple US offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of civil/site experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; comity licensure in target states.
• Extensive land development and site civil design experience for large projects.
• Strong PM skills: budgeting, scheduling, client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development services from site selection to construction.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, client communication, proposals, and subconsultants.
• Direct site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and authorities on codes and standards.
• Review deliverables, mentor staff, and support growth and client development.
